The Absolute Health clinic is currently run by two modern healthcare professionals, Richard Baverstock and Sophie Bevin, both registered Osteopaths.

We have a broad knowledge of human structure and function, both in health and disease. We are skilled at history taking and physical examination, not only musculoskeletal but of other systems too. We can make a clinical diagnosis and know the limitations of what we can do. If we cannot help you ourselves, we can make an appropriate referral.

As Osteopaths, we have a highly developed sense of touch and we use our hands to make an accurate assessment of the state of your body's tissues. We have at our disposal a wide range of manual techniques and are very experienced in their selection and application.

We allow enough time in our consultations to develop a good understanding of your functional state in order to provide effective help.

ABOUT US

Sophie trained as an Osteopath between 2004-2008, gaining skills in structural and classical Osteopathy as well as Cranio-Sacral Therapy.

Richard is also a Regsitered Osteopath, with additional clinical experience as a Bowen Technique practitioner. This gentle approach to treatment can have wide ranging effects, and often relieves problems that other therapies have been unable to address. Richard uses other healing techniques, including Reiki, Chi-Healing and Emotional Freedom Techniques to address issues at the mental, emotional and spiritual levels, and has witnessed profound emotional release from the most gentle forms of therapy.
